LCL Logistix is investing in modern logistics infrastructure to support the escalating business transportation and logistics management demand in India. LCL Logistix has begun operations at its own Container Freight Stations (CFS), 'Logix Park', located at strategic port locations in India.

These multifunctional facilities with international service standards are well connected by road and rail, and will service customers for inward and outward ocean freight needs.

The facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art handling equipment including reach stackers, forklifts and mechanized cranes.
These are powered by CNG/LPG to prevent oil spillage and to ensure sustainable energy conservation practices. Special facilities are available to provide safe handling and storage of agro products.

LCL Logistix is investing in infrastructure to drive India’s business growth. Modern facilities in regional markets will reduce the time taken by products and components to move from one place to another over long distances. The company commenced operations of its 40- acre LOGIXPARK near the Pipavav Port in Gujarat in 2006. The developed facility, which is spread over 21 acres of land, offers warehousing space of 150, 000 sq ft with container parking area of 5 lakh sq.ft and storage capacity of 5000 TEUS.
LOGIXPARK, Pipavav is located on the main highway approximately 3 km from the port. It provides all types of storage and service facilities to businesses, including warehousing, container parking, storage of reefer cargo, hazardous cargo handling, container repairs and maintenance, packaging of cargo, labeling, and other logistics services under one roof. The port is well connected by road and a broad gauge rail network to the rest of the country.
The company’s second CFS, OCEANGATE CONTAINER TERMINALS PVT.LTD, at Nhava Sheva in Navi Mumbai, India was successfully completed in July 2010. The facility is spread over 17 acres of land and offers 16,500 square meters of warehousing space in addition to the yard capacity of 10,000 TEUs. LCL is also planning to develop 5 more state-of-the-art Container Freight Stations (CFS’s) in India. The company’s ongoing project near the eastern port of Haldia with a storage capacity of 3000 TEUs, is one such facility which should be ready by the
end of 2010.

Warehouses
As part of its integration strategy to be present throughout the transportation value chain, LCL Logistix operates warehouses for storage and inventory management across the country. LCL Logistix has its own custom-bonded and general warehouses in locations such as Mumbai and Haldia for its customers' storage needs. LCL also operates a 7-acre empty container yard and repairing facility at New Delhi.
